Remember that guy who stole a whole bunch of money from those boy-bands by issuing worthless stock, setting up fake accounting firms and made up overseas financiers to defraud investors and banks out of more than $300 million. Then fled the country and was found in Indonesia? That’s ok I vaguely remember either. Lou Pearlman the man behind boy-bands Backstreet Boys & NSYNC pleaded Guilty on Monday to financial fraud. He has agreed to work with prosecutors to help recover $300 million he stole from investors. According to the Orlando Sentinel Pearlman could face up to 25 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
First off there is only 1 Big Poppa! Any grown man who wants teenage boys to call him Big Poppa who isn’t Biggie Smalls is DURTTAY!!! Did this guy really think he was going to get away with all this!? I mean $300 million, how greedy. I would have been ok with the first $100 million, but that’s just me. Honestly I don’t think 25 years in prison is good enough. Not only did Pearlman leave investors without any payout, but he also left 1,300 elderly victims who were on fixed incomes without any retirement savings.
You think he’ll ask the other inmates to call him Big Poppa?
