Both Atreyu and 10 Years have been asked by Linkin Park to be a part of the Projekt Revolution tour this summer! I don’t know about you, but I am stoked for Projekt Rev 2008. I went last year and can’t wait for this year’s tour. If you are going (you better be!) make sure to get there when doors/gates open and check out these two bands on the Revolution stage.
Alex Varkatzas from Atreyu just wants to shred and jam out on the Revolution stage. For those of you who have never been to Projekt Revolution, there are two stages. The Main stage – where Linkin Park and a few bigger bands play, and the Revolution stage – where the smaller opening act type bands play.
The nice thing about the two-stage setup though, is that no bands overlap and play at the same time. So fans who get to the show when doors open can hang out at the Revolution stage all day before heading over to the Main stage to check out Linkin Park – the ultimate headliner of the night. This gives fans a chance to check out bands on the Revolution stage that they might not know.
Both Alex from Atreyu and Jesse Hasek from 10 Years are excited to give 110% while rocking out on stage in order to win over masses of new fans. It is going to take a lot of effort, but these two bands are ready to get out there and bring their music to their present and future fans. Oh, and these guys are playing on a stage that is basically a semi-truck that forms a normal stage in the middle of a parking lot and folds up at night. Play on a stage by day, sleep in a semi-truck by night. Ah, life on the road…What do you think about that? Pretty cool, huh?! You learn something new every day…
Both Alex from Atreyu and Jesse from 10 Years agree on one thing for sure, though, and that is to catch as much Linkin Park performances on the tour as possible. Both guys are huge LP fans and are more than stoked to be on the road all summer long with Mike Shinoda and company. Alex from Atreyu has yet to see Linkin Park live in concert! Jesse from 10 Years has yet to check out Atreyu’s live show too! 2008’s Projekt Revolution tour will have plenty of first times for all involved, that is for sure.
