Travis Barker & DJ AM Survive Plane Crash

Travis Barker & Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM have been critically injured in a plane crash last Friday night in Columbia, South Carolina. Four other passengers were killed including Barker’s personal assistant, Chris Barker, & his bodyguard, Charles Still. The pilot & co-pilot Sarah Lemmon & James Bland also died in the accident.

Travis Barker suffered second & thired degree burns to his torso and lower half of his body. After multiple surgeries he is staying optimistic. DJ AM was also severly burned. Doctors from the Joseph M Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia say the musicians are expected to fully recover from their injuries. Barker’s clothing company has set up a memorial fund for the families of Barker & Still.

Federal investigators are looking into a possible blown tire that may have caused the crash. Evidence shows one of the jets tire may have blown before takeoff. Audio from the cockpit indicates the pilot’s informed air traffic controllers they heard a tire burst & tried to abort takeoff.

Barker & DJ AM told officers on the scene they slid down the the wind on the right side of the plane. Both on fire they started tackling one another to put out the flames.
