New Yorker:
The Boston-based power trio Tab the Band, with a fixation on seventies arena rock, lights up the night with the fist-pumping sounds of its new record, “Long Weekend.”

NPR Second Stage:
This talented trio has created an exuberant album that tips the hat to its rock & roll predecessors without feeling trite or at all derivative.

Best Week Ever:
On the boys’ album and show: “TAB’s album (and plugged-in live show) is big time rock…”
On their acoustic show: “They sounded great…it really felt like we were witnessing something special and different.”

Rolling Stone:
“…they play bluesy, sleazy, guitar raunch…one Boston power trio proudly schooled in the past…”

NY Metro:
“Old school bar rock that on its own should win over more than a few jaded listeners”

“Be sure to put this little gem on your TAB….This is crazy beautiful driving music. Play it in the car with all the windows down, and watch out for jealous stares”

“This band rawks”

Power Trio TAB The Band  Second Album, The Self-Produced Long Weekend is out NOW on North Street

Who Are Tab the Band:
It sounds like a real band using real instruments recorded in an
organic way. On this second release, the guys stretched the spectrum,
some songs heavier and some more poppy.Recorded at the Boneyard in Duxbury, MA, Long Weekend was written,
recorded, produced and engineered by brothers Adrian and Tony Perry.
The boys also helped mix the album with Kevin Ennis (who also mixed
“Pulling Out Just Enough To Win”).
