  • The Presidents Of The United States of America Announce Spring 2009 World Tour Japanese & European Tour Starts This Week 3 New iTunes Exclusive EP’s And Videos

The Presidents of the United States of America’s music, as if it were sending out millions of microwave rays, turns ice into puddles of water at the world’s feet. – Daytrotter.com

The Presidents of the United States of America scratch that itch that you can’t reach. They do and say all those things that you’d like to, but fear what people might think of you. They are your inner-child, but stinking drunk on a half-case of cheap beer. And, with the youthful appeal of the Dead Milkmen, the off-kilter storytelling and slashing chops of the Violent Femmes, and a razor-sharp sense of irony, they are utterly undeniable.  – Adem Tepedelen

This isn’t your expected so-called “novelty” band. PUSA are the real deal, and they expect you to take them seriously. Well, as seriously as you can, you mixed-up sonofabitch.  – Absolutepunk.net

Since their inception over a decade ago, THE PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA have remained one of America’s best live bands, combining their indie garage sound and intelligent weirdo lyrics into an unforgettably fantastic live show. PUSA have proved how a little garage band can have long-term success by sticking to their roots, taking care of their fans, giving away music (free weekly downloads at www.presidentsrock.com), and keeping it simple, stupid. Every year they headline and sellout tours in the US and Europe, with an Australia or Japan added in for texture. Their sets are 90-minute joy-fests, where the crowd is tasked with singing, stomping, and general ‘4th President’ duties. It’s something to see. If you don’t believe it, ask a door person or bartender at your town’s favorite club, and chances are you’ll get an earful.

With their latest album “These Are the Good Times People”, released in March of 2008, PUSA delivered an uplifting and often brilliant rock & roll album.  Now they are releasing 3 new EP’s, available exclusively at iTunes, that each include a song from the album, an exclusive B-Side and a new video. That’s three (3) videos, people. Big budget numbers, with helicopters and explosions. You bet.
