STATE AND MADISON
CONFIRM SPECIAL VALENTINE’S DAY SHOW
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 14
AT SUBTERRANEAN IN CHICAGO
It’s the season of love and for Chicago indie-rock charmers STATE AND MADISON, the celebration begins with a special hometown performance at Subterranean on Valentine’s Day—Saturday, February 14. The all-ages event kicks off at 5:00PM and also features Silent Sirens, LifeInJersey and Albatross on the bill. Advance tickets for the show are on sale now at Ticketweb.com.
This exclusive engagement will mark STATE AND MADISON’s first area performance since their 3rd annual “Fall Formal” extravaganza that sold out the Beat Kitchen in November. With each return to the stage, the band continues to re-invent themselves for larger-than-life events, an explosive presence and undeniable audience interaction. These elements are fused together with STATE AND MADISON’s signature punchy indie/pop rock hybrid.
Beyond showcasing songs from their catalog, STATE AND MADISON will also debut new material. “The band is eager to play Chicago again,” says frontman Nickolas Blazina. “We have some new songs in the works that we’re really looking forward to taking out on a test drive.”
