“Nothing’s Forever, Not Even Goodbye” Out Now On Milan Records
“Maybe, just maybe, a new Elton John might be just what the doctor ordered, someone who can bring a new life to the ancient music-hall/pop piano-man tradition, with clear-headed songs of genuinely witty lyrical oomph and, most of all, a historically informed musical depth — all delivered with style, grace, wit and élan, of course. Your candidate for such a new contender might very well be one Aaron Beaumont”
“With flurries of Wurlitzer, glockenspiel, and reindeer bells layering Aaron Beaumont’s tunes, the singer/songwriter seems to have popped out of a music box. In fact, Beaumont recently relocated from Nashville, bringing with him a folky aesthetic chock full of charm and whimsy. Tonight, Beaumont celebrates the release of his debut album, Nothing’s Forever (Not Even Goodbye), on the local indie Milan Records. The record’s highlights include piano-centric love songs “The Time Will Come,” “The Park Bench Song,” and “Julia,” each laced with an almost anachronistic sincerity that makes Beaumont’s tunes all the more irresistible.”Guilt Free Pleasures: Artist to Watch in ’09
“Aaron Beaumont has got it all – the talent, the voice, the looks, the wardrobe. He writes beautiful piano ballads and I can picture him rocketing to fame pretty swiftly, so listen to him now so that you can say “I knew him before he was famous.”
Aaron Beaumont completed degrees in Economics, Spanish, and Literature before concluding that the world didn’t need the following:
a well-read bilingual economist
an economically savvy Spanish novelist
yet another singer-songwriter
AND he’s none of the above.
Lush, melodic performances that harks back to early 20th century piano-roll influences that’s a modern take on the piano-centered aesthetic that is once daring and refreshing.
Over the Christmas season, Aaron will pair up with the good folks of “The Choir at Your Door” which includes Julia Lee, who has frequently collaborated with Allison Krauss among others. Aaron will be orchestrating and arranging for the band while they reinterpret traditional Christmas carols.

“A clear appreciator of words, life and emotional intelligence, Aaron couples the insight that one might expect from someone many decades older with the optimism that is associated with someone early on their path.” Somewhere in between these interludes, Aaron’s distinctive 20’s-inspired….waltz-like tone of piano mixing with celeste and bells, there was a charming formality to the show’s atmosphere” Los Angeles based artist
Aaron Beaumont just released his debut album “Nothing’s Forever, Not Even Goodbye” on Milan Records and will be playing extensively in Los Angeles area…
Aaron’s music is anything but typical singer-songwriter fare. This is thanks largely to Aaron’s rich and eclectic musical upbringing, which ranged from performing piano concertos with an orchestra to playing trumpet in a jazz quartet to touring the U.S. and Europe as the bassist in a rock band. And that was just the first 20 years.
Based on the results of his recent stint as a songwriter, the next 20 look just as promising.
Aaron will be released his freshman project, “Nothing’s Forever, Not Even Goodbye” with Milan Records on October 21, 2008. A synthesis of 20’s and 30’s influences and melodic songcraft, this superb 10-track release is a gem…
