Until the End and After with Special Show Feb. 27 at The Farm
Until the End and After available for purchase at the show and on iTunes starting Feb. 27
LAS VEGAS – February 11, 2009 – Las Vegas-based alternative rock band Searchlight will perform at The Farm, Las Vegas’ newest all-ages venue, on Friday, February 27, 2009, at 6 p.m. to celebrate the release of their long-awaited debut CD, Until the End and After.
Produced by Branden Steineckert, drummer for Rancid and formerly of The Used, Until the End and After marks the first release under Steineckert’s Unknown Studios. The 10-song EP features “Give It Up,” which explores how things you fight for can ultimately destroy you; “Lives On Film,” a deep introspect of a soldier’s final thoughts and regrets while in battle; and fan favorite “Contagious,” as featured on the Resident Evil: Extinction soundtrack and the film’s closing credits.
“We’re all heavily influenced and inspired by super heroes, comic books and video games,” said Adam Michaels, lead vocals/guitarist. “Our music explores how that world relates to real life, love and relationships.” Michaels, also an aspiring artist, designed the album art featured on Until the End and After.
Searchlight celebrates the release of Until the End and After on Friday, February 27 at The Farm and will be joined by special guests Lydia Vance, Collin Creek out of Utah and This City In Collision. The Farm, Las Vegas’ premier all-ages venue, is located at 5597 S. Rainbow Blvd. at Russell Road. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $10 at www.myspace.com/searchlightmusic or $15 at the door.
Until the End and After will be available at the show for $10, as well as via iTunes. For more information, please visit www.myspace.com/searchlightmusic.
