St Patty’s Day In The Burbs!

Yep it’s that time of year again! St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. Time for everyone to celebrate that inner Irish in you & drink some green beer. So for those of you in the northwest suburbs of Chicago follow the jump to see what’s going down!

The original Ballydoyle in Downers Grove, one of the best and most popular Irish Pubs, is pulling no punches with their St. Patrick’s Day party on Tuesday, March 17th. It’s going to be an all day affair that will kick off with Kegs and Eggs at 8 am. The rest of the day and night will be littered with entertainment from Dave Johnston at 10 am, Trinity Irish Dancers at 11a, Aiden O’Toole at 12p, Anish at 3:30p, The Ballydoyle Knights, a toast to Ireland and presentation of the Queen of St Patrick’s Day at 7:45p, and The Wolftones’ Derek Warfield at 8 pm. The new and just opened Ballydoyle in Aurora has a nonstop menu of fun and excitement for their St. Patrick’s Day Party on Tuesday, March 17th. The party starts with Kegs and Eggs at 8 am. Bannerman’s in Bartlett has a great St. Patrick’s Day party planned on Tuesday, March 17th. Aside from lots of great drink specials they will also have green beer, Guinness, Sam Adams, Smithwicks, and Harp. They will also have Corned Beef and Cabbage available. Big Fish Bar & Grille at Harborside Marina is having a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day Party on Friday, March 13th. Their beer specials will include green beer. The always pop’n Breakaway Lounge in Villa Park is the place to be not only as a great place to grab a drink with friends but especially this St. Patrick’s Day. Chicago City Limits will be hosting their 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Beach Party. Mickey Finn’s Brewery has been known to have the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Party in Lake County and this year won’t be any different.  It’s going to be five day long St. Patrick’s Day party with a beer tent on lots of entertainment. In the beer tent on Friday, March 13th there will be a Misericordia Fundraiser and Irish Dancers from 5:30 pm to 10 pm. In the Amber Room you will find The Usuals performing.
