3 DOORS DOWN GOES PRIMAL WITH NEW VIDEO, “LET ME BE MYSELF,” FEATURING THE GEICO CAVEMEN

Los Angeles, CA (May 15, 2009) – Platinum-plus-selling rockers 3 Doors Down (Universal Republic), who rose to fame with the Superman-like riffage of hit single, “Kryptonite,” are going primal with their newest video, “Let Me Be Myself,” which features the GEICO cavemen.

The video for “Let Me By Myself,” the third single from the band’s new self-titled studio album, was shot in Los Angeles with director Shaun Silva (Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts).  Silva also helmed the band’s most recent video, “It’s Not My Time.”    “Let Me Be Myself” will also serve as the theme song for two of GEICO’s new auto insurance commercials, written and produced by The Martin Agency of Richmond, VA, and set to air beginning May 15.
