A side note…wow, I was a little excited and thought the tour started today. I need to lay off the coffee!
I really love what I do here at the Dead Hub. I am introduced to many new artists, and so far my new favorite is Tina Dico. Tina is a singer/songwriter from Denmark. She is exceptionally talented in the songwriting end of things. Yes, she can also sing, but her songwriting skills put many to shame.
She comes around a couple time a year to the US but she doesn’t hit many places. That means if she says she’s coming to town, you can’t miss it or it’ll be awhile.
She’s playing October 2nd at Shubas in Chicago and I’m thrilled!!
Tina current release is a trilogy out called “A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending” which I haven’t heard yet. I am ok with this because I am still in love with Count to Ten. If you pick up one album for Tina make sure it’s Count to Ten.
Tour dates are below and each person who buys a ticket for the US Tour receives 4 Brand new tracks free to download.
September 29, Highline Ballroom
September 30, World Café, upstairs
WASHINGTON DC (ARLINGTON)
October 1, IOTA Café
October 2, Shubas
October 4, The Roxy
October 6, Café Du Nord
October 7, Triple Door
Oh yes, One More Thing…if you have an iPhone search the App Store for Tina Dico and download her app to stay informed on Tour Dates, News, and blurbs about Tina. She is the first Danish artist to have an iPhone App!
