Station Casinos’ November house entertainment is heating things up this holiday season

LAS VEGAS – October 30, 2009 – Station Casinos continues to entertain locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark entertainment that the city has grown to love.

New shows include southern rockers Nawgahyde performing hits from bands like ZZ Top, Grand Funk Railroad and Blue Oyster Cult every Saturday at Sunset Station. Echoes of the ’60s join the Thursday lineup at Green Valley Ranch, while Rat Pack Fridays takes over at Texas Station. Michael Grimm is no longer performing at Ovation, but guests can still enjoy his music while dining and drinking at Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis. Most shows are free or will be noted below if they have a minimal cover charge. Coming this month are after the jump!

Every Friday:

Ovation – Steel Panther performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. This ’80s glam metal parody band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. The band will not perform on Nov. 20; WolfCreek will be performing in their place. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Each week the band brings in celebrity guests to perform with them and have been joined in the past by members of Guns N’ Roses, The Dead Kennedy’s, Dokken, Quiet Riot and Aerosmith, to name a few. The November schedule features: adult film star Sunny Leone guest hosts on Nov. 7, Ted Poley of Danger Danger on Nov. 14, Erik Turner of Warrant on Nov. 21 and adult film legend Ron Jeremy guest hosts on Nov. 28. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Chrome Showroom – Free Rock Saturdays featuring tribute bands of famed rock artists on a rotating schedule with doors at 9 p.m. The November schedule features: Hair Raid tribute to ’80s rock on Nov. 7, Just Like Priest/Empyre tribute to Judas Priest and Queensryche on Nov. 14, Atomic Punks tribute to Van Halen on Nov. 21 and TNT tribute to AC/DC on Nov. 28. The Railhead – Latin Night with Noche Nortena featuring El Moreno Carrillo Y Su Banda Tierra Sagrada, delivering the best in regional Mexican music with doors at 8:30 p.m. The music flows leading up to the show and between sets with a DJ spinning the best Latin tunes until 2 a.m. This show is 21 years and older and has a $10 cover for men and $5 cover for women.
