Title Track Reaches #1 as Thicke Tours North America with Alicia Keys

Los Angeles, CA – The title track from Robin Thicke’s December 2009 release, Sex Therapy, has soared to the #1 spot at Urban Radio. The Grammy award winning, platinum recording artist is currently performing in arenas with Alicia Keys with a handful of intimate headline dates throughout the tour (see tour dates below). Tickets are on sale now.

Robin Thicke returned to the charts with his highly anticipated release, Sex Therapy, which takes a substantially different tack than any of his previous records, both musically and thematically. For the first time, Thicke left his classic soul sound and ventured into contemporary R&B, Rock, Electronic and hip-hop influences and collaborators—seen in the presence of guest artists like Jay-Z, Nikki Minaj, Kid Cudi, Estelle, Snoop Dogg, and Game.

Thicke’s previous albums 2006’s The Evolution Of Robin Thicke, now on its way to double platinum status, included the mega hit “Lost Without U” which became the #1 most played song on the Urban Adult Contemporary BDS as well as topping four Billboard charts simultaneously: #1 R&B /Hip Hop album, #1 Hot R&B / Hip Hop song, #1 Hot R&B Hip Hop Airplay, and #1 Hot Adult R&B Airplay. 2008’s Something Else which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 charts and sold nearly 140,000 records the first week. The first single from the album was “Magic” a further expansion of the sultry, classic R&B/soul sound that powered The Evolution of Robin Thicke. “Magic” went on to peak at number two on the Urban AC charts.
