Coming to Webster Hall on Wednesday April 28th, Lach Presents…
7:30- Anna Haas – A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Anna has arrived in NYC with her bluesy, experimental and soulful songs. Fresh off the bus and onto the bigger stages of the downtown nightclub scene!
8- Art Sorority For Girls – is the power-pop project of perennial sideman Daoud Tyler-Ameen. Over the past six years, Daoud has been a member of the New York pop acts Air Waves, Creaky Boards, Urban Barnyard and played session man The Lisps and Dan Fishback. But all the while, he was quietly penning his own songs, crafting them into hissy bedroom demos, and distributing them to his friends and crushes. Now, with a studio album in the works, the Art Sorority has graduated into a full-on rock band, ready to hug the fuck out of whoever gets in their way.
9- Boom Chick – are a rock n’ roll duo based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Boom Chick’s influences come from 1950’s and early 1960’s rock n’ roll, surf rock, and early American blues.
Frank Hoier sings and plays electric guitar, switching between slide on a 1930’s hollow body, and a custom made Kelly Stratocaster. Moselle Spiller plays a stripped down vintage drum kit.
10-Michal Towber – Emmy-winner Michal Towber is a singer/songwriter/musician, born in Ashkelon, Israel, and raised in NYC.
She released Sky With Stars (2000), an album distributed by Columbia/SONY and co-produced by Michal Towber and Soul Asylum front man, Dave Pirner. The track My Friend was featured on Delia’s In Your Head sampler and played in movie theaters nationwide, and Broken Boy appeared on Dawson’s Creek.

This CD was a CDBaby.com editor’s pick, and many tracks appeared on ABC’s Daytime Television Drama One Life to Live. Robin Finck, of Nine Inch Nails, lent his guitar skills to the track Alive. Life without Me was featured in the HBO movie Kiss the Bride
In 2005 Michal released Desireless on Shorebreak records. Perfect was featured in the HBO movie Jack and Jill vs. the World and the Lifetime Movie True Confessions of a Go Go Girl. Lovesick appeared in the film Dark Rising. Michal also won an Emmy for her work on One Life to Live.

11-Jordan Levinson – Down-home Americana meets Antifolk. Picture Bobby McGee but sung by Dusty Springfield after kicking back a shot of Jack.
