Betta Promotions Residency at Schubas Tavern in Chicago!

-Chicago, Illinois-

Betta Promotions proudly welcomes you to our first residency at Schubas Tavern. The August long stint begins Monday August 9th and continues each Monday until September. Kicking off the festivities will be; Automata, Jehovahs Mustache, Good Work Johnson.

This is Automata’s first time playing Schubas. The Chicagoian psychedelic dub-fusion quartet recently played to packed audiences at Lincoln Hall and The Milwaukee Ave. Arts Festival. Automata is very proud to cross another milestone off their musicians bucket-list with this Betta Promotions show. Automata’s first EP can be downloaded for free at http://music.thisisautomata.com/.

Jehovahs Mustache, another Chicago based four-piece blends a unique mix of classic rock with melodic punk. As a relative newcomer to the Schubas stage they are thrilled to be on the bill with these talented acts. Samples of their music can be found at www.myspace.com/jehovahmustache.

Good Work Johnson headed by former Call The Medic guitarist Alex Kreller is excited to be playing Schubas for the first time. The band, a side project of Kreller’s featuring his brother and two friends blends hardcore music with technical instrumentation. A few songs can be viewed at www.myspace.com/goodworkjohnson.

Future acts in the Monday series are anticipated by; Scott Lucas and The Married Men, Archie Powell & the Exports, The Names that Spell, Dastardly, Volcanoes Make Islands and Mike Maimone and The Mutts, in addition to many other talented artists.
