The release of Gemini Club’s upcoming single, ‘Ghost’, is not set to officially invade the iPods of anyone willing to dance until early November. But while the rest of the world has to wait, Gemini Club has decided to reward their Chicago fans with the chance to purchase limited-edition CD copies of the entire release on September 24th as part of Metro’s monthly One Night Stand event, an 18+ dance party presented by new Chicago-based artist collective Loose Change), UR Chicago Online and Untitled Clothing. CDs will be on hand for the September 24th show only. Anyone who misses out will have to wait until November to get their hands on a copy of the full EP release, but Gemini Club will offer up Midnight Conspiracy’s remix of “Ghost” as a free download on the new home base of the Loose Change collective,, starting September 15.

In an effort to make the show at Metro as memorable as possible, Gemini Club, who traditionally perform live without a live drummer, will have Jonathan Marks (Hey Champ) on live drums. The support lineup for Gemini Club on the 24th is star-studded, with DJ sets from all three Ghost remix producers Hey Champ, Only Children, and Midnight Conspiracy, along with One Night Stand resident DJs Team Bayside High, as well as Kid Color.

While they have received international attention both through music blogs and magazines alike, Gemini Club is prepared to properly introduce themselves to the world through the release of their single ‘Ghost’, a track so catchy, to say that it effortlessly embeds itself in the minds of any listener would be putting it mildly. ‘Ghost’ is also backed up with a powerhouse Chicago remix lineup comprised of Hey Champ, Only Children, and Midnight Conspiracy, who, along with Gemini Club, give credence to the notion that all eyes should be on what is a bubbling indie dance scene in Chicago that is ready to burst. Not only that, but ‘Ghost’ is also supported by superb remixes from international producers Golden Bug (France) and Barretso (Australia) who have been dance floor mainstays for quite some time now.

It is in sweaty loft parties, packed dance clubs, rock n’ roll joints and virtually any place with speakers where you will find Gemini Club, whose infectious live indie-electro performances have been keeping the Chicago dance floor habitués in an absolute frenzy since July of 2009. The trio comprised of Tom Gavin, Daniel Brunelle, and Gordon Bramli have wasted no time in making their presence felt not only in Chicago, but across the U.S., and the rest of the world. Generating buzz almost immediately after they released their self-released debut EP, Future Tidings in August of 2009, Gemini Club truly has the makings of an act destined to make the big break in the music industry.

Don’t miss the release party on Friday, September 24 at Metro. Tickets are on sale now.
