TRAPT’s “Sound Off” Rock The Vote PSA

Platinum-selling rock band TRAPT has a lot to celebrate! The band has just announced new tour dates supporting the release of their Billboard-charting fourth studio album, No Apologies, which hit stores on October 12, 2010 via Eleven Seven Music. TRAPT is currently on the road with Skillet and label-mates Papa Roach as part of the Monsters of Annihilation tour. That runs through the end of October, and will be followed by a run of headlining dates, beginning in late November.

With the lead single, “Sound Off,” TRAPT has set out to inspire fans to make their voices heard, to sound off on issues important to them. With Election Day a week away, this theme is particularly timely. The members of TRAPT have partnered with Rock the Vote for a special “Vote Fearlessly” PSA campaign. The “Sound Off” video has been worked into a PSA, opening up with an appeal from the band members to go out and vote.

Additionally, in an effort to further spread the message of “Sound Off,” TRAPT has designed a unique Facebook application where fans can create, post and share their personalized videos sounding off. Click here to view the exclusive “Sound Off” Facebook application. No Apologies debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Hard Music Chart & Independent Album Charts (#3 and #4, respectively), #25 on the Top 200 Album Chart, #7 on the Rock Album Chart. It was also the #1 rock album on iTunes during its first week of release.
