The Ghost of A Saber Tooth Tiger Release “Schroedinger’s Cat” Music Video Directed by Jordan Galland

(New York, NY –  Jordan Galland (director) Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl – the duo better known as The Ghost of A Saber Tooth Tiger, released the music video for The GOASTT track, “Schroedinger’s Cat” today.

Off of the band’s latest album, Acoustic Sessions, the “Schroedinger’s Cat” music video gives us a window into an unusual gathering of historical and pop culture icons, played by an equally as unusual group of present day musicians, who converge on Union Pool to watch a mystical dance performance.  Check out the handy chart below explaining the cast of characters.

Video after the jump…

This past June, The GOASTT and Jordan Galland shared the stage at Union Pool for a live performance, which triggered the music video’s inspiration; Galland’s imagination cooked up the story treatment for this historical “who’s who” of characters.  Paired with the cloudy, dream-like camera shots and stripped down pop-music of The GOASTT, the video evokes a very fitting Alice in Wonderland atmosphere.

Galland, a musician and filmmaker, adds the “Schroedinger’s Cat” music video to a long list of work from 2010, including music videos for Mark Ronson and The Americans, collaborations with The Neistat Brothers, Galland’s own feature film debut, Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Undead, and his sophomore solo-album, Search Party.
