Fueled By Ramen recording group A Rocket To The Moon has announced details of their first-ever North American headline tour.  The “On Your Side” tour will launch on March 15th at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York, and then continue through late April (see attached itinerary).  Accompanying ARTTM on the 32-city trek will be a multi-artist line-up featuring Valencia, Anarbor, Runner Runner, and Go Radio. Presale tickets will be available beginning January 10th and remaining tickets will go on sale starting January 15th at www.arockettothemoon.net. The “On Your Side” tour is being sponsored by www.musicskins.com, who will be offering limited edition A Rocket To The Moon skins for mobile devices during ticket presale and out on the tour. Additional sponsors include the Chicago based clothing company Snakes & Suits and The Keep A Breast Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at helping to eradicate breast cancer by educating young people on methods of prevention, early detection and support.

The dates follow the recent release of A Rocket To The Moon’s acclaimed EP, “THE RAINY DAY SESSIONS.”  Available exclusively via iTunes, the 5-track EP features new versions of songs originally found on the band’s 2009 debut album, “ON YOUR SIDE,” recorded with female bluegrass group Larkin Poe and award-winning producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra).  Among the highlights of “THE RAINY DAY SESSIONS” is a country and bluegrass tinged take on the band’s hit single, “Like We Used To,” as well as a creative cover of Beyoncé’s classic “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”

“Like We Used To” has proven an undeniable online sensation, with sales now approaching 300,000 and close to 3 million video streams at Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/FueledByRamen.  In addition, the “Like We Used To” clip has been added into rotation at MTV Hits and mtvU, while the song has been featured on two of MTV’s biggest hit shows, Teen Mom and Jersey Shore.

Furthermore, “Like We Used To” and another ARTTM favorite, “Mr. Right,” are now available in Tapulous’ hugely popular iOS music game, “Tap Tap Revenge.”  With over 30 million installs and 3.5 million games played daily, “Tap Tap Revenge” is currently the #1 most popular game for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The brainchild of Braintree, Massachusetts-based songwriter/musician Nick Santino, A Rocket To The Moon has toured virtually non-stop since the release of their 2008 Fueled By Ramen debut EP, “GREETINGS FROM…”  The band will stay connected to their fans while on the road via the newly relaunched site on the Cisco EOS platform at www.arockettothemoon.net.  ARTTM has also proven enormously popular at MySpace, with close to 35 million total streams and counting.  The upcoming headline tour follows the band’s breakthrough 2010, a busy year which included sold out tours alongside both All Time Low and Hanson, as well as a recent slate of holiday-themed radio concerts with fellow label mates Paramore.
