New York, NY – Breakout star Christina Perri is excited to announce her first ever US tour as main support for five-time Grammy Nominee James Blunt.  Kicking off April 20th at the House of Blues in Boston the tour will visit marquee venues across the US including the Beacon Theatre in NYC, the Fillmore in Denver, the Wiltern in LA and the Moore Theatre in Seattle before ending in Vancouver, BC on May 10th with a show at the Center for the Performing Arts.

This Spring tour will be most fans first chance to see Perri performing live outside of the National TV performances –ConanThe Tonight Show with Jay LenoCBS The Early Show and So You Think You Can Dance – and comes on the heels of Perri’s full-length debut release – lovestrong.  Due out in April on Atlantic Records, Perri is currently recording the album at Sunset Studios in LA with producer Joe Chicarelli (White Stripes, Tori Amos, The Shins) and mixer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Regina Spektor).

Perri’s hit single, “Jar of Hearts” continues to climb the charts and gain momentum at radio.  Nearing platinum with another 80,000 sold just this past week, the song hit #17 on the iTunes Overall chart – its highest position yet.  “Jar of Hearts” jumped from 41 to 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, is in the Top 10 on Hot AC and is in the Top 30 on the Pop Chart.  In addition, the “Jar of Hearts” video was added to MTV this week and remains in Large rotation on VH1.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 21st.
