Portland, Oregon – March 10, 2011 – The Portland band THE UPSIDEDOWN is giving fansSomething Good- a 5-track EP features the previously unreleased track Elov and a remix of the song La Paloma from their new album courtesy of Dandy Warhols guitarist Peter Holmstrom.  The EP will be released March 17, and will be available exclusively through iTunes.

THE UPSIDEDOWN will follow the release with a brief tour of California (see dates below), and are currently planning a European tour for this summer.

The EP is the follow-up to Town With Bad Wiring, and includes a trio of tracks from the band’s third full-length – the “Something Good” title track, a fuzzed up and psychedelic remix of “La Paloma” by Dandy Warhols guitarist Peter Holmstrom, and “Spiders,” which has been featured on the CW network’s hit program Nikita. Also included are the previously unreleased live favourite “Eluv” and a funky remix of “Wake Up Drive Through” from the band’s debut album Trust Electricity.

THE UPSIDEDOWN recently filmed a video for “Something Good” that was inspired by the movies The Warriors and Velvet Goldmine, and features local DJ Gustav, from Portland’s 94.7 FM. “We used several Portland rockers to run through Chinatown here in our beautiful city, while local radio icon and 95.7 FM DJ Gustav played the part of the warriors DJ guiding all of the good people to see ‘something good,'” say the band of the video.
