Concert tickets are getting expensive, as most concert goers have experienced this first hand. Just look at this summer’s hottest festivals as the average ticket to get in for general admission is $150 and that just gets you through the door. Some of the festivals are charging additional fees for shuttles, camping, and, of course, parking. Bonnaroo and the Hangout Festival now offer payment plans for their tickets. It’s a bit scary when a music festival has to even do that, but look at the price of a VIP ticket for Bonnaroo; it’ll cost a die hard Bonnaroo fan $1,399.50 for their VIP experience. That’s a bit steep for the average working class citizen to put up in these times. For the rest of us who aren’t or can’t ante up hundreds of dollars to see our favorite bands, Ticketmaster now has it’s own page just for deals on some of the hottest acts and events out on tour. You may remember they offered up special deals on tickets for Christmas this past year and they are keeping the deals going with the newly launched branch of their site: http://www.ticketmaster.com/ticketdeals.
They are currently offering under $40 tickets for artists such as Rusko, Iced Earth & Symphony X, Steel Panther, Mona, Atmosphere, and Pink Floyd: The Experience. The new site also offers 2 For 1 Tickets (50% off 2 tickets) for events like Ringling Bros., STOMP, Bodies, the Exhibition, and Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam; Me+3 4-Packs (special offers on 4 tickets) for Sesame Street Live, PBR: Professional Bull Riders, and select NBA & NHL teams; and $40 Below (select tickets for $40 and under) for concerts such as Heart, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum, and Allstar Weekend.
These Ticket Deals are currently available to US and Canada only.
