Tonight, Beaumont celebrates the release of his debut album, Nothing’s Forever (Not Even Goodbye), on the local indie Milan Records. The record’s highlights include piano-centric love songs “The Time Will Come,” “The Park Bench Song,” and “Julia,” each laced with an almost anachronistic sincerity that makes Beaumont’s tunes all the more irresistible.”
Aaron Beaumont completed degrees in Economics, Spanish, and Literature before concluding that the world didn’t need the following:
a well-read bilingual economist
an economically savvy Spanish novelist
yet another singer-songwriter
AND he’s none of the above.
Lush, melodic performances that harks back to early 20th century piano-roll influences that’s a modern take on the piano-centered aesthetic that is once daring and refreshing.
Over the Christmas season, Aaron will pair up with the good folks of “The Choir at Your Door” which includes Julia Lee, who has frequently collaborated with Allison Krauss among others. Aaron will be orchestrating and arranging for the band while they reinterpret traditional Christmas carols.

Los Angeles based artist Aaron Beaumont just released his debut album “Nothing’s Forever, Not Even Goodbye” on Milan Records and will be playing extensively in Los Angeles area…
| Aaron’s music is anything but typical singer-songwriter fare. This is thanks largely to Aaron’s rich and eclectic musical upbringing, which ranged from performing piano concertos with an orchestra to playing trumpet in a jazz quartet to touring the U.S. and Europe as the bassist in a rock band. And that was just the first 20 years.
Based on the results of his recent stint as a songwriter, the next 20 look just as promising. Aaron will be released his freshman project, “Nothing’s Forever, Not Even Goodbye” with Milan Records on October 21, 2008.
