There were many of us here at Country Thunder today that had no idea who this Eric Church guy was. I was in for a big surprise as I went to the front of the stage to find female and male screaming fans chanting his name. I thought, “Where the hell have I been?” Apparently I live under a rock because they were all singing along and even took their boots off in homage to his song “Lotta Boot Left to Fill.”
Eric was truly the best performer to kick off Country Thunder. He’s not only a country boy but he knows how to rock. Eric won over many fans today including me. So, please excuse me as I go to iTunes to purchase Carolina, his newest release.
By the way, did I mention he is a strapping young lad?
Off to sleep even though there are tornado sirens going off. It’s not Country Thunder without some kind of natural disaster and heat…lots of heat.
