Fall Out Boy
Allstate Arena – Rosemont, IL
May 9, 2009

Patrick Stump (lead vocals, rhythm guitar)
I have been a fan of Fall Out Boy since the second I heard lead singer Patrick Stump singing the first verse of “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down.” I remember that moment vividly, like it happened yesterday. The song came on my friend’s satellite radio player while we were driving in her car back around September of 2005. I immediately turned to her and said something like, “Who IS this?!” She pointed to her satellite radio gadget mounted on her dashboard and informed me it was a band called Fall Out Boy that she had recently gotten into. Well, let me tell you, all it took was that one song and I was hooked; a fan for life. Over the next week or so, I proceeded to buy all of the music Fall Out Boy had ever released and began memorizing every word to every song. I still do that to this day and sing my heart out along with Patrick at Fall Out Boy shows in the band’s hometown (mine too) of Chicago. Below is the set list from the Chicago stop of Fall Out Boy’s Believers Never Die, Part Deux tour. And yes, I knew every word to every one of these songs. I even knew the lyrics to the night’s chosen cover songs…

I want to apologize for how the guys look in my photographs. Although, it was not my fault the band decided to dress up like corporate businessmen who got beat up. We (the photographers) were only allowed to shoot the band during the first three songs. It just so happened that for the first four songs, Fall Out Boy wanted to look like crap. Honestly, Patrick…what was with that wig?! And let’s be real, Pete…combing your hair down flat against your head with your forehead protruding in full view is NOT a flattering look for you. I have to say though, that Andy and Joe looked just fine in their business attire. No qualms there. It was just my luck that AFTER I went back to my seat to watch the rest of the show, the band went off stage to change into their normal gear for the remainder of the night. Check out more photos of the band members in Fall Out Boy after the jump.
Joe Trohman (lead guitar)
Andy Hurley (drums)

The pics are awesome! But I will say that the attire and wig that patrick is wearing is a bit strange…lol
And they could have definitely gotten a bit more graphic with the makeup! lol
Looks like it was a great show though!
This was the first time I that I have ever seen Fall Out Boy, and I was impressed by their performance! That show was a great time!
