If you’re in the San Diego area and into fashion, style and local music, you need to check out THREAD this year. THREAD is a showcase of the best emerging fashion designers on the rise. Trends are made, fashion faux paus are exterminated and urban hipsters rock out to music and sip on cocktails while socializing and shopping for a cause.
In past events, more than 20,000 people attended the shopping experiences in San Diego and San Francisco so they can get first dibs on that season’s trendiest digs and say that they discovered an up and coming fashion designer before anyone else could.
Although previous THREAD events showed off some of the best DJ talent out there, this year marks the first time that live local music will make its debut. Local San Diego band Dirty Sweet will be headlining, along with The Burning of Rome and North County’s favorite Get Back Loretta. And just announced this week: Scarlet Symphony and Legitimate by Friday.
If you’re from San Diego and into the local music scene, you’ve definitely already heard about these bands and you know the stir they’ve been creating in the local indie music scene.
