Kid Rock Goes Digital

Posted by Yvette Casillas On October - 8 - 2008

Kid Rock has signed a deal with Rhapsody to have his entire discography available for downloading & streaming. Kid, along with a few others, has not jumped on the iTunes bandwagon. So why Rhapsody? Unlike iTunes and Amazon, who offer a la carte options, Rhapsody will only sell Kid’s album in its entirety. Kid believes iTunes is an old system: monies are given to the record companies and not the artist. Kid has always endorsed illegal downloads as long as fans buy tickets to his shows. He wants his music to be heard, but more importantly, he wants to play live. Speaking of Kid Rock playing live, we have a review of his May show in Chicago over here.
