What do you get when Linkin Park and Apple join forces?

Well, no one is for sure yet, but Linkin Park’s frontman Mike Shinoda wrote in his blog, “Also, look forward to a special show that we’re doing in NYC in conjunction with Apple…shh…it’s a secret…” Then again, maybe someone could just ask Mike about the “secret” show. Tonight they are holding an online chat with their fans, but only with a select group. A) you have to be a registered fan club member and B) to use the iChat you must be a Mac user. Mac users can send questions via iChat message to “Z100LinkinPark.”

Apple is rumored to be holding a “special” company event at the end of this month. Any event with Linkin Park is going to rock with or without a new product announcement from Apple, but it smells like the Linkin Park and Apple projects are about to bloom.
