We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope that 2010 will be a great year for all.
On that note, I sit here in my parent’s living room patiently waiting for my older brother to get here so we can tear into our presents. At this point I am sure our dog wants to tear into the gifts more than any of us do.
On the eve of Christmas Eve, someone posed a question to me that I had a really hard time answering. She asked, “What has been your greatest success in 2009?” My first thought was reflecting on just how miserable 2009 has been. I’ve seen friends lose their jobs, take pay cuts, and watched those who were able to keep their jobs now have stacks of even more work to finish. I also had immediate flashbacks of the company’s struggles and hurdles of 2009 in my head. It wasn’t until I took a couple steps back and picked up the phone to call Yvette that I realized all the great things we’ve done.
I hope everyone in the days to come can remember the successes in 2009 and celebrate them. The greatest cliché, “Great things come in small packages” is really true. So from the Dead Hub we wish you all the best in 2010 because our greatest success has been you, our readers.
