Yet another successful year for Stagecoach in Indio, California. For those who are unaware, the producer of Stagecoach is a mastermind. I mean why stripe down Coachella’ s ground for a couple days of hippyfest when the next weekend you can have another 2-day, jam packed, star studded festival? That’s right the grounds are best known for hippyfest (Coachella), but soon after turns into cowboy country.

Trampled by Turtles have been a word of mouth phenomenon since forming four years ago with their combination of lightening fast, punk-influenced barn-burners and lonesome, Townes Van Zandt-inspired ballads. HIGH PLAINS MIXER: Global Inheritance brings their Energy FACTory initiative to the festival for the third time with the HIGH PLAINS MIXER which will feature electronic DJs remixing country music’s greatest hits. The High Plains Mixer will be powered by the CATTLE DRIVE where festival goers can win music, VIP passes, Stagecoach merchandise and more as they help power the sets in the by running on hamster wheels, riding bikes, turning hand cranks and riding seesaws, among other things.
